Tamika Reeves is the owner and Clinical Director of Transition Family Services. She was born and raised in Detroit, MI and is married with 3 beautiful children. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) as well as a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). Mrs. Reeves is a Clinical Licensing Supervisor offering mentorship and supervision to newly licensed therapists. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2007 from Michigan State University. She went on to obtain her Masters in Counseling from Oakland University in 2013. She has experience working in several settings including foster care, adoption, child welfare, adult mental health, psychotherapy and developmental disabilities. As a native of Detroit Michigan, she is dedicated to bettering her community and being a positive role model.

Mrs. Reeves has several years of experience working in the area of suicide prevention, marriage and couples counseling, motivational interviewing, mental health counseling, autism and developmental disabilities, and youth mentoring. Mrs. Reeves also is credentialed as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional and Community Mental Health Professional (CMHP).
